Vacancy: Two Permanent Lecturer/Assistant Professor Positions in Politics and International Relations - University College Dublin, Ireland

UCD’s School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe) invites applications for two permanent appointments, commencing 30 August 2027. We welcome scholars across political science, international relations and development studies, broadly defined. Successful candidates will strengthen or strategically complement the School’s research profile and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervision and international research networks.

Candidates require a completed relevant PhD, a strong publication record appropriate to career stage and proven high-quality university-level teaching.

Salary: €66,055–€104,600 per annum
Contract: Permanent (two posts)
Start date: 30 August 2027
