Which membership am I?
We have plenty of Membership options available to suit all backgrounds. Membership status is allocated according to your career stage.
- For the Academics 📚
Memberships for mid-to-late career professionals, looking to boost your opportunities.
Individual Membership suits if you actively research the study of contemporary Europe at a university, higher education setting or research institution.
Early Career Membership if you are a researcher within 3 years of your PhD Visa.
Affiliate Membership if you work for a think tank, government body, other non-academic organisation, or are retired from academic but wish to access our resources and networking opportunities.

There's 3 Memberships for those in Early Careers.
Student Membership if you are enrolled on an undergraduate or masters programme.
PhD Membership for PhD students.
- For Groups 🏢
Are you a department of an academic institution or a small organisation? Our Group Membership is for you.
UACES Group Membership covers staff and students within a department of an institution or an organisation.
For universities: Group is defined as: a Department, a Center, a School or a Faculty, not the University as a whole.
Small organisations such as think tanks or civil society organisations can also become group members, so their staff can avail of our group member benefits. See who's joined us.
