The EUHealthGov network is delighted to announce the upcoming event in its quarterly seminar series. On Thursday 30 November, 12 noon (GMT) we are delighted to host an In Conversation event with Dr Mechthild Roos (University of Augsburg) and Dr Tamara Tubakovic (LSE) on forced migration and health in the EU.
This research is a comparative – intergenerational and interregional – history of Asia Minor memories and identities of forced displacement that examines the multilayered relationship between contemporary attitudes and refugee past.
This conference explores the potential of regional collaboration for meeting some of the key challenges facing our world today, and to do say in a smarter and leaner way than ‘just’ copying the EU model. It does so in the context of CompaRe, the Leiden Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on comparative regional integration, and in collaboration with UNU-CRIS, the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies.
This volume provides an updated analysis of the most significant constitutive aspects for the political sociology of the EU. It examines in detail how civic and political activism regarding the inclusion and integration of gender and sexual minorities, as well as migrants and refugees, have become substantial forces in Europe today.
