Biography

Feyza completed her M.A degree in European Union Law at Marmara University European Union Institute in Istanbul. Her dissertation was focused on the distribution of competences between the Commission and national competition authorities of the member states in EC Competition law. Having been awarded the Jean Monnet scholarship of the European Commission, she studied for her LL.M degree at King's College London during 2004-2005. In 2007, she came back to King's College London as a visiting research fellow to pursue her PhD studies under the supervisory of Prof. Andrea Biondi, which was funded by the British Government's Chevening Scholarship Programme. She completed her Ph.D in 2011.Feyza has been specialised in the area of competition and state aids law and her Ph.D focuses on the application of competition and state aid rules to the specific categories of undertakings under Article 106 of the TFEU. Before and during her academic studies, Feyza worked for international consultancy firms, such as Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and Turkish Airlines, as a legal consultant. She is a registered Trademark and European Patent lawyer. She is the founder and president of European Forum Association.
