Getting There

Jagiellonian University is situated in the centre of Krakow, within easy reach of the train station.

Krakow's international airport is situated c. 15km from the university.

Train

Krakow Glowny is the main station and is located 1.4km from the conference venue.

There are direct trains from Krakow to many Polish cities including Gdansk, Warsaw and Katowice. There is also a sleeper train which travels directly to Prague at 22:00 each evening.

There is a direct train from Krakow Glowny to Krakow airport which runs 7 days a week and takes c. 17 minutes. A single ticket from the airport to the city centre cost 8 PLN (c. 2 EUR).

Plane

The closest airport is Krakow airport which is situated 15km outside the centre of the city. There are direct train links between the airport and the city.

Taxis from the airport to the city centre cost around 90 PLN (c. 20 EUR).

Krakow airport is served by direct flights from many major European cities.

Bus

Krakow Bus Station is located next to Krakow Glowny.

There are direct buses from across Europe to Krakow. Some are extremely reasonable (eg direct buses from Budapest to Krakow for c. 7 EUR).
